Pumpkin bread.
This bread is moist, savory and very tasty. And the recipe is extremely easy. It's a comforting, cozy meal that will take you back to the memories.
Ingredients:
1. 600g pumpkin puree
2. 3 cups flour
3. 1 cup (if you don't want it sweet, add half a cup) sugar
4. 2 teaspoons baking powder
5. a pinch salt
6. 4 eggs
7. 1/2 cup oil
8. 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
9. 2 teaspoons cinnamon
10. 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
11. 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
12. 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
13. 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
14. 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (400 F). When the oven heats up bake the pumpkin about 40 minutes. Remove the pumpkin from the oven and let it cool. Take a large bowl and add flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, allspice and nutmeg. Take another medium-sized bowl and mix eggs, sugar, salt in it. Whisk in the cooled pumpkin and oil. Pour these wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix together. If you want you can add nuts to the batter. Pour the batter into a generously buttered pan. Sprinkle pumpkin seeds on top. Bake in an oven heated to 190 degrees (374 F) for about 60 minutes. Bon appetite!
